Charice L. HoltsclawCharice L. Holtsclaw

Charice received her Juris Doctor degree from Washburn School of Law in Topeka, Kansas in May 2005. She is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and licensed to practice law in Missouri and the Federal Court in Kansas. She gained experience with hundreds of bankruptcy cases while Managing Attorney of a national bankruptcy law firm. Prior to law school, Charice earned her MBA from Park University and worked as an Analyst and Contract Negotiator at Sprint Nextel and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Charice serves as an adjunct instructor for Business and Management classes at Park University’s M.B.A. program. Charice enjoys helping people which is one of the reasons she chose to specialize in bankruptcy law. In her spare time Charice enjoys travelling with her husband, Mark and hanging out at home with pizza and a movie.

Jeanne M. Foster, Attorney

Jeanne M. Foster is an attorney at Heartland Law who has been in private practice for the past several years primarily in the area of family law. She has experience in a range of child custody and paternity issues, parenting plans and minor guardianships. Jeanne practices family law because she believes family is the most important relationship.

She practiced in pubic service with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Litigation Section and the Missouri Department of Revenue in the area of business taxes/administrative law. Jeanne served on active duty with the United States Army in the JAG Corps and in the Reserves in Kansas City Kansas. She advised commanders, prosecuted felony Courts Martial cases, investigated and adjudicated injury and property claims as Claims Officer, drafted wills and Powers of Attorney for deploying soldiers, their families and retirees. She taught Geneva/Hague Conventions and criminal law classes.

Jeanne did her coursework at the University of Missouri-Kansas City earning a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Juris Doctorate, Law, in 1979. Jeanne is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Association of Women Lawyers, Reserve Officer Association and Military Order of the World Wars. She has served as a Johnson County election official and election judge and has served extensively with United Methodist Women and her church’s Pastor/Parish Relations Committee.

Kelley Snyder, Paralegal

Kelley has been a paralegal since 2007. She received her associates degree in Paralegal Studies from Penn Valley Community college in 2009 and is currently continuing her studies to receive her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Columbia College. She was also on the honor roll each semester while at Penn Valley and was one of the founding members and the secretary of the Student Paralegal Association during its first year at Penn Valley.

Kelley became a paralegal because of her passion for the legal field. Through her job she is able to help people that are in stressful situations and work with finances.

Kelley has been married for nearly nine years and in her spare time she loves to play with the Snyder's very large chocolate lab, reading, watching movies, camping, fishing and anything outdoors.
